This repainted wicker plant stand is everything I love about vintage: history, character, charm and best of all, reusing what already exists. This wicker beauty was my grandmother’s (and so was the schlumbergera aka the Christmas cactus -the plant and the stand could very well be close in age). My parents repainted it light grey (it was have been pink?) which has given it a new lease on life. Take a look at things around you, just because something is chipped or weathered doesn’t mean it is no good: reuse, repaint, repurpose, reimagine.
