My plans to read more and waste less time have taken a couple of days off. I did finish the first coat on the steps but otherwise stalled yesterday. Any ideas to kick start? I’m often so sleepy after work - it’s inexplicable as it’s not particularly tiring (though I find it tiring to concentrate on other people’s priorities for hours at a time and miss the work chats I’ve had at a very few of my jobs). #lazyitis#salishsea#theseaiscalling#seaview#bytheocean
What great words from @mycee. Thanks. #Repost@mcycee ・・・
There’s something mesmerizing about a community coming together to celebrate what they love by cheering on individuals as they accomplish inspiring feats. Inspiring not simply because of the skills and strengths they displayed, but also of the courage, dedication, and tenacity they possessed.
I saw competitors trying to figure out a route standing shoulder to shoulder. I saw people cheering ecstatically as a climber overcomes a move. I saw sending attempts not defined by their failures but by the successes they helped to build.
While all of these things are not necessarily unique to climbing, they are quintessential to what we love about this community. That’s why the Highballathon bouldering competition last Saturday was so memorable and a celebration I’m glad to have partaken.
#CCRC We were given a chance to be a guest for a blog, check it out.
・ 'Learning to run fast takes time, take your time and start slow.' Great words of advice from this week's guest blog @latino_heat82, or you may know him as the speed demon from @capitalcityruncrew

I feel like I should say something corny like can’t wait to get a jump on the week.... but I kinda never want this weekend to end. Meet the lovely talented Sarah who jumped at the end of the break water in the cold wind at least a douzen times to get this shot. It’s one of my favourite from our shoot last month I’ve finally had the time to sit down and edit a few shots and I can’t wait to share more 😊
