Now, introducing you to what may currently be my favourite snack - peanut butter filled, chocolate covered medjool dates 🤤
Surprisingly decadent, moorish, and really quite a wholesome treat 👌
To make them I simply pitted some dates and kept the remains whole, drizzled peanut butter into the dates then placed them in the freezer to harden. I then drizzled melted chocolate over the top and sprinkled over chopped nuts.
Keep in the fridge of freezer, in the freezer they get harder and chewier and oh so tasty and magical, so yeah, I’d say keep them in the freezer (I mean, that’s if they even last long enough). 😏
Medjool dates are great for sweet recipes, they are soft, chewy and rather sweet. Perfect for making caramel, using as a natural sweetener, or eating straight for a yummy snack.
