“Upon making it into the Hero’s program, I was not sure what to expect and how it would assist me in developing my own skill set. I initially thought the program focused more on IT/Technology, and as a Science student I questioned its relevance for myself and other students in similar fields. However, the Hero program has shown me different ways of thinking that universally applies to all fields, it has helped me understand how valuable building networks is to expanding one's future career and potential.
By the time I had completed the program, it had changed me as a person in ways that I would have never known. I’m more confident as well as more outspoken about my views. The program has enabled me to seek out more opportunities in my field and has been invaluable in providing direction to my future career. I would highly recommend the program to students from all faculties, as the skills and experience gained through the program can be applied across all faculties!“ - Anthony Zhou (Bachelor of Science) [Semester 2, 2018] Apply now for the Term 1 2019 Cohort of the UNSW Hero Program! Sometimes travelling is not as smooth as it may looked like. This, University of Sydney, was one of my favorite instagrammy place where I could not believe I can stand in front of the building which I used to only able to see it from cinema. I am not a movie freak but this building is a bit similar to Harry Potter's wizard school (hogwarts). It already amazed me that it feels like I can dream with eyes opened.
But when I visited it, my head was extremely sick. I felt so dizzy due to very late dinner I had in the plane. I dont remember but I think it was very late that I got back seat got the very last meal and ate around 1 am for dinner for 8 to 9 hours airplane journey. Maybe @fathia_92 was also feeling irritated by my complaining behavior when I felt not good all the time during early visit 😂😂😂. But it was because I felt really uncomfortable and dont know how to cure the frustration that you go to the interesting place in your not best condition. The place was excellent but was not very enjoyable due to sick body. I regret for not really taking care of myself back then.
But at least this is one of the experience that at this time I started to miss. When you are in it you may actually consider it as very ordinary and not special because you can not realize one day this small thing.. the plus and minus during travelling is something that you miss the most when you suddenly already felt satisfied with your "travelling life" and back to your "ordinary" life.

Sahabat, berikut salah satu testimonial dari sahabat kita, Lala @amaliazulfiana Master of International Public Health (2018). “When the first time I came to this Uni I thought it would be hard for me as an international student to survive doing masters in this world-class university and to adapt in this diverse and multi-cultural environment. But then luckily the Uni provides facilities and heaps of workshops that help me struggling with my study, doing the assignments, and developing my career goals.
I love the learning environments here. The lecturers are very supportive and always encourage the students to engage in discussions, the academic support officers are very helpful, and the learning facilities provided also support my study. The diversity of the students could be an opportunity to build networks and explore other cultures.
Overall, studying masters in Uni of Sydney gives me a wide range of benefits, not only for my academic expertise but also my career development and social skill”
