Weekends are my favorite. 💕
Now we have a real Monday-Friday. I’m responsible for making sure Charlotte gets to school each day on time in clean clothes with lunch/snacks. Uncommitted mornings are no more, for the rest of my life with kids at home. The sweet freedom to make our own schedule, no rush to get dressed or our spontaneous weekday mornings are gone until summer vacations. But now we have that to look forward to. 🙌🏻 spring breaks and real summer vacations are our future. No more Mexico in May or France in early December 😆
Once your first born is in kindergarten, big change is inevitable, even if you have younger children 😔
I actually like the routine we have going on. It keeps me accountable 👍🏻 The kids get to bed early so they can wake up early. We eat breakfast, get dressed and start walking to school at 740. My coffee is still cold before I can finish it though lol 🤷🏻♀️
They need structure and so do I.
I sometimes feel that if I didn’t have children, I’d be kinda floundering around in life looking for my purpose. They are my purpose. They are the reason I’m here and I feel like they were plucked from heaven and planted in my life specifically for me. God knew what he was doing and why he had me wait til I was near 40 to start my family. ❤️
