One last nostalgia post 😍🙌🏻
While I was visiting the place I grew up I learned that one of my closest friends had lost his grandfather and was visiting, too. After a good chat, the conversation turned to a lady who lived on our street— Grandma Dina.
Growing up, I vividly remember running to her doorstep (about 8 houses down from mine and 2 from Stevens) and getting the smallest piece of the best fudge I had ever tasted!! At his grandfathers service Grandma Dina showed up and Steven and her reminisced about this famous fudge. True to her nature, she showed up with two tins within a few days!!! Now I have to tell you, the taste, look and smell of these treats did not change. What we did notice— way more sugar than we remembered.
It’s beautiful to think that this kind lady fuelled so much fun twenty years ago 💛 This was the first time a taste brought me back to childhood. .
We have been getting alot of questions on Company and Business Name Registration. Alot of people do not know whether to register a Co. or a Business Name. So, we decided to throw some light.
A Business Name is a business run by one person or more with a registered Business Name. The law does not distinguish between the owner of the Business and his business. Hence, a Business Name cannot be sued separately from the owner. Thereby making owner's liability unlimited.
On the other hand, a Company is a legal entity made up of people with common purpose for carrying out commercial & Industrial enterprise. A Company has a legal personality. Thus, can sue or be sued separate from the persons who form the Company.
Unlike BN, a Co. has alot of post incorporation procedures that MUST be complied with.
