16 days and 16 hours but who’s counting? (me.) a few months ago all of this seemed so far away and surreal and suddenly shit just got very. real.
almost $8,000 raised for @stjude along with hundreds of training miles run...and all I can say is that I’m feeling pretty grateful that I have this opportunity.

I was not ready for that cold temperature this morning! To get it over with,I ran faster than the prescribed pace. Hay que ser más valientes y no tener miedo al descanso. Esto es para valientes.

Day 122: 6 miler Steady Run ✅
A TASTE OF COLD DAYS
This week I have felt exhausted almost every day and I am taking easy my days. If I can and my body needs it, I take a nap. I try to sleep every night at least 7 hours and I am taking very good care of my diet. I am sure that next week I will feel better.
Today I was supposed to run 6 miles with a taste of cold days. Of course when I started running it was freezing but as soon as I got to the river and the sun , everything was perfect!
I felt very tired when I started my run but after a few minutes I felt great. In spite of the soreness from yesterday’s strength training, my legs did very well and the cold weather conditions helped a lot.
I didn’t know which running clothes to pack this morning because of the cold. My choice was very appropriate (at least for me that I get warm very fast) and I was able to run comfortably. The key for me is always trying to not overdress and being patient during the first minutes of the run. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We’re about 2 weeks out until the TCS New York City marathon. Just wanted to update everyone that I’m in full training mode. Thanks for all the support I received on Sunday. The #statenislandhalf was a great tune up for the #tcsnycmarathon Felt good to finally run a race in New York City too. I also wanted to ask my friends and family to help support the team I’m running with, Organization For Autism Research.
