State Route 227 is a southeast-northwest California state highway in San Luis Obispo County. The mostly rural, two-lane road travels 15.6 miles between its two termini, both of which are at US101.
SR227 begins at a diamond interchange just southwest of historic Arroyo Grande. It continues northeast through Arroyo Grande as E Branch St, serving as the town's Main Street. The route soon leaves the tiny downtown, makes a few turns, and finally turns north onto Carpenter Canyon Rd. It winds through some small hills before descending into a flat area of fields. Shortly after leaving the hills, the road's name changes to Edna Rd. SR227 continues along Edna Rd to the SLO Regional Airport, where the road's name changes once again, now to Broad St. The road then enters the southern outskirts of San Luis Obispo. 227 and Broad St part ways at South St. Here, the state route turns west onto South St, while Broad St continues north toward downtown. Near the western end of South St, the route turns onto Higuera St, then quickly onto Madonna Rd. SR227 ends a few hundred feet to the west at a parclo interchange with US101, here sharing a freeway with State Route 1. I have traveled segments of SR227 near its northwestern terminus. In my C-route plan, SR227 is numbered C-337, as an auxiliary route of US101. .
SR227 serves the following places: #arroyogrande#edna#sanluisobispo
Feeling the love between Nicole and Derek was a given, but seeing the way they cared about each of their friends and family was something very special. Each time Nicole said hi to someone she would tear up and say how thankful she was that they were there, it made my heart melt. 💕Congratulations you two!! #legallylebon
