This month, I embarked on a mission to eat well. I'm trying to increase my vitamin intake, and lower my cholesterol. So that means a lot of making my own food, and even more vegetables! But of course they can't have butter, so I'm trying to find other flavors! Today I tried toasting vegetables in balsamic vinaigrette, and it's great! Also, I'll never take pictures anywhere but my balcony ever again.
Infused some warm evoo with fresh rosemary and garlic. I tossed it into some cipolline onions, with salt, pepper, and herbs. I let them dry out a bit and then bake them with butter and Johnny's Seasoning Salt.
