Can’t believe we are already heading home. We had an amazing four days driving Highway 1 across British Columbia. So much fall color and wide open spaces. We are a little sad heading home to a state with almost the same population as the country we were just in. We will miss that chill in the air, the lack of concrete all around, those popping colors of fall, and that feeling of staying on a farm in the middle of B.C. surrounded by nothing but wilderness. But we will find new adventures and enjoy hugging our kitty when we get home!
PS. That is Ricco. He lead the way in the dark to our cabin, stood guard all night on our porch, and gave excellent tours of the farm!
That time @willy289 and I took a road trip through the rockies and saw some pretty amazing scenery along the way. Would you just look at it!? Breathtaking. Now if only we could build a cabin right there in the middle 🏔🍂
Veggie burger at the Hitching Post Restaurant. What a find in a small town (population ~250). Service was excellent and we made friends with the other tables. Such a nice small town vibe. #hedleybc#hitchingpostrestaurant#travelbc
Mining town has an awesome little museum - lots of interesting things to look at and archival pictures to look back in time. The little tea/coffee shop has pie and root beer floats. The people there are so warm and fun to chat with....check out the 1950’s overhead town photos and compare it to today. #hedleybc#hedleymine#hedleymuseum
