//SLEEP// Oh yes! I sure do love my sleep! But for the longest time I found myself staying up late at night, just to enjoy some peace and quiet...finally the house was quiet and I didn’t want to waste that by sleeping 🤣. I also had this strange way of thinking that if I went to bed earlier then the next day would start sooner and I would be back in the daily grind of motherhood. I just wanted a break from it and this quiet time at night gave that to me.
The trouble with that though, was that it meant I wasn’t getting enough sleep...the kids didn’t care what time I went to bed they still woke up at the same time and were ready to start their day. Meanwhile my late nights meant I wasn’t getting enough sleep and was waking tired all the time! Sound familiar? It’s a vicious cycle right?
But now I prioritise my sleep. I go to bed earlier, I don’t stay up late watching rubbish tv. That then gives my the choice in the morning whether to get more sleep or get up earlier and enjoy some peace before the kids get up. So much better for me...I feel more rested and I am listening to what my body needs.
Mama’s it’s time to listen to your body and give it what it needs. Is sleep a top priority in your self care routine? .

I’ve been lucky to dodge the Keto Flu 😷 thus far . I probably can attribute some of it due to staying well hydrated , using Pink Himalayan Salt and keeping pickles and Electrolyte powder on hand wherever I go . Stay hydrated and Keto on fam .
Picture this... What if you drink from the same straw EVERY DAY, but when you get done drinking from it, you just put it in a drawer? What would happen if you never cleaned it? 🤭 The straw would get pretty DISGUSTING, right? 🤢
Eventually, enough junk (bacteria/crud) would build up from all of the things you drink and liquid wouldn’t be able to get through the straw... THAT is how your #gut and #digestive tract works in a simple non scientific way. If you don't do something to get rid of the residue, then your #intestines can't properly absorb the #nutrients your #body needs! 😱
Therefore all the vites you take are for not if they can't be absorbed. 😭

Calm before the storm 🌪. Reflecting on all that is good in life. Reevaluating what can be better, parts of me that can be stronger (not physical). Replenishing my energy, cause I feel tired. Lol 🤪
