FAST FOOD/FOOD ON THE GO
There has been a big debate & issue that in the UK food on the go that is deemed as 'fast food' i.e McDonald's, burgers, chips etc is a lot cheaper than snacks on the go that are deemed a healthier option.
A simple alternative to this, is meal prep of your own food. This has multiple different positives:
- Have a rough idea of the quality & calorie contact of the food you are consuming via tracking apps
- Can prep meals for a certain amount of days which is far less time consuming then first believed
- Due to work sorting meals for multiple days/times, the cost per meal becomes very small
