Last night I enjoyed a fun menu preview at a brand new restaurant in Cherry Hill NJ, @denimamericanbistro 🍽 This was their first run showcasing the menu before opening to the public and they were open to any suggestions which was great. Here’s a small glimpse into what we enjoyed. The first picture is a Korean BBQ short rib dish. This had scallions, cilantro, radish and peanuts sprinkled over it. It was also served with a kimchi fried rice. The flavors of the entire dish were perfect! The short rib was so flavorful, but there’s one thing I would change, the texture. It was a little over cooked. But other than that, it was a great first attempt! I hope this one stays on the menu. I’m sure the 2nd time around the Korean short rib will be spot on! The second item shown was a beet beignet. This one is a keeper! The third item was an ahi tuna crudo. This was the best I’ve had. The pickle jalapeño pepper gave little kick and the tamari gave it a perfect light soy sauce flavor, loved it! Please support this place and check it out soon! The chef, David Murray and his crew are super cool!
