*This Sunday* Our fall classes begin!! Do not sleep on this one as it is the only one of its kind. The first class, the grounds, the bases, the very gateway to all that is apothecary & homesteading. Learn your local flora and fauna. Learn how YOU can start identifying wild edibles, medicinals and magicals. Let us be your resource for your own adventure with your surroundings. This skill set will change your everyday perspective. Hikes, walks to your car, that bush outside your moms house, it all has purpose! The bees, the birds, the trees, the mushrooms, the animals, the HUMANS. They are all growing, showing their best colors and giving us their best foot forward. Learn to forage ethically and in a way that we may encourage more growth. Learn to collect your own seeds. We will have a tasting, a show and tell of sorts and go over the foundation of making your own medicine, ferments, wines, meads and culinary teroirs ! Whether you’re a bird watcher, butterfly lover, gardener, farmer, florist etc. knowing where these grow, why and how to use them is a sacred knowledge because it is in our blood. This was the only way and for some, still is. These plants were here before us. They very patterns of the sun, the moon, our planets orbit, are inside of them. These things took us centuries to learn and were all around us the whole time. You will see these patterns yourself and understand the fundamentals of regional, seasonal plant medicine and just how vital it is. The cool thing about classes is, you get years and years of fails, wins, highs, lows, sleepless nights, countless dollars and endless research in ONE 1.5 hour class!!! It’s a beautiful thing. I am so thankful for allllll the amazing people that have chosen to share their knowledge with us and we are so very honored to offer the same. So please, come out and learn stuff. Support your your community. Just by showing up you are aiding in a vital community that needs your help. Learning from a screen is quickly becoming THE way for the majority of people. If you love seeing live music, shopping at markets and asking questions to your local apothecary, be the change you wish to see and support this community.
