"The fall before the rise" is what people called autumn before waters have risen leaving nothing but islands. Everything seemed in confusion, warmest days when grey should be overtaking the skies, no rain where grass laid brown trying to survive, birds in dissaray wondering if they should fly south. Why? It is warm enough... #storyoftheislands
I sometimes feel overwhelmed with all the things I want to do, be, or study in this one life. A hundred different things, things which are sometimes contradictory. All we can do is just "go for it", whatever it is at that moment. Maybe we'll end up somewhere wonderful. At least, that's the philosophy I'm sticking to for right now. #livinglifevibes
I took this photo when I ducked into a monastery courtyard while waiting for a bus and "wowee-wow-wow". How very Europe 👀
Is it?! 🤔 People who I’ve talked to about Paris either love it or hate it. I fall somewhere in the middle, but closer to the “I never have to visit again” group.
I visited in 2012 and it was not my favorite city...by a long shot. But the more I’ve thought about it over the years, the more I felt like it was calling me back, asking for a second chance.😂 I’ve spent a lot of time scouring the internet and asking people who love it for their recommendations in an effort to find the Paris I’ll love. I do hope I have a change of heart!
How do you feel about Paris? Have you ever been somewhere you thought you’d love but didn’t enjoy? #willdrinkfortravel#TravelTuesday
