So excited to share my brand refresh by @nicoleayang! This super talented designer helped me create a “big girl” brand, using elements and pieces and ideas I had swimming around my head... and turned it into something amazing I’d never thought I’d have! 😍
This refresh is not just a visual change either, I’m embracing my unique self and sharing who I am than ever before on social media. (I hope you’ve noticed a difference here in Instagram, yeah?) 🤷♀️❓
You’ll find more nerdy, quirky things here regularly— including my love of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney, and Business Operations (because I can geek out about a good spreadsheet all day long!) 🤓
Thank you @allshewrotenotes for the pep talk on making Instagram fun again 💖 at @inspiredretreat and again to @nicoleayang for refreshing my brand! 🧡 (Go hire her for a design session, now! They’re on sale for $150! 👀)
Oh, and one more thing! I’m breaking up with my 9 grid pattern today! 😆🙌🏽🤣
Yesterday in my InstaStories I shared a series of photos of what you all see here on IG & photos of when you see me in the city & then I shared photos of the biggest part of my day to day life which is suffering & healing from #lymedisease. I also had my neighbor Jen photograph some highly vulnerable moments. I never imagined the number of responses nor the types of responses -ranging from people saying they were shocked to people saying ‘’I had no idea’ to people saying ‘me too’ to people sharing about their own stories to thank you’s to ‘that looks serious’. There were over 138 of you that saw the photos & 52 of you dm’d. It’s a lot of you. Thank you. The purpose of me being willing to be that vulnerable to share my full reality was threefold: 1). Those of you suffering, you’re never alone. God is always with you and you have a very large Instagram community here to root for you....people that not only understand but who can empathize, so reach out, 2). What you ‘see’ when you look at someone is only a sliver of what’s actually happening. And that includes what you see on Instagram. For example, most of my photos are old or taken in less than 2 minutes on one day of the week. Always realize that unless we show up curious w/ a willingness to understand one another, we simply don’t know one another’s full stories, 3). Be kind. We can’t ‘see’ the pain of the one who is bullied, we can’t ‘see’ cancer on someone’s smiling face, we can’t ‘see’ that that smiling woman just had a miscarriage, we can’t ‘see’ grief and sometimes you can’t ‘see’ Lyme. But we can be kind. And we can be supportive of one another. And we can ask questions. We can all build one another up. And we can be loving. 52 of you floored me yesterday so, you weren’t the only one’s who were surprised ❤️. #wellness#cleanliving#healthyliving#plantbased#plants#style#photography#photooftheday#liveauthentic#fitness t #darlingmovement#paleo#keto#vegan#plantstrong#yoga#naturephotography#quotes#inspire#travelblogger#fitness#quote#water#photooftheday#natural#writersofinstagram#quotestoliveby#beautiful#storytime#fall
In my most basic form💛. It wasn’t just about being naked on the beach. It was about being liberated and feeling no shame in my body and being surrounded by others who felt no shame in their bodies. It was so natural for me.
