I never thought of stuffing my meatloaf this way, but it turned out incredibly good. The cheese oozed out when I cut it! That’s when you know it’s a good meal. This recipe is great to cook on those cold winter nights and it will really warm you up!
500 grams ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon cumin
6 slices cheddar cheese
¼ cup chopped onions
¼ cup chopped green onions
½ cup spinach
¼ cup mushrooms
This makes a total of 8 servings of Keto Stuffed Meatloaf Each serving comes out to be 248.63 Calories, 19.56g Fats, 1.42g Net Carbs, and 15.8g Protein.
If we imagine the three macronutrients (protein, carbs and fat) as 3 musicians being portrayed in the media; protein is the one currently creaming publicity, appearing on all the recent chat shows, billboards and TV ads. Fat is the one who hasn’t made an album in 8 years but remains afloat via continuous royalty payments from die-hard fanatics. And carbs.... Well carbs is the gregarious, equally talented musician who never got their big break. -
Returning these three macronutrients to their nutritional alias’, we know the importance of protein as repairing, satiating and note it’s thermic benefits for fat loss after consumption. We also understand the functional benefits of micronutrients and fatty acids found in some fat dense foods. Yet with carbs, our basic understanding and rational opinion of them appears to be absent. -
Objectively, the caloric component of any carbohydrate source is 4 calories per gram. Whilst relatively dense amounts of simple sugars (such as the fruit pastels) digest sooner and are generally less satiating than starches (such as the pasta or potatoes), this does not make them bad - it just makes them different. In isolation, 176 calories consumed from fruit pastels will have the same compositional effect on body fat as 176 calories consumed from potatoes... or even kale. -
Consuming carbohydrates (of any variety) does not make us more susceptible to fat gain than consuming the same caloric representations of protein or fat. Lack of protein or fibre in one’s overall diet ‘may’ inhibit overall satiety and lead to one’s continuous need to prevent hunger. But be sure that the individual’s choice to consume more calories/lack of awareness of total calories consumed is the problem. Not carbs.
Lastly, carbs are an energy source. Some contain more nutrients and satiating qualities than others. But awareness of nutritional value, food behaviour and overall energy balance will show you that if you want, you can eat any carbohydrate you please 🔥.

Happy #humpday and #waistwednesday! I did leg day for the first time in like 3 weeks, since I tweaked my knee. Also, someone help! How do I take a Instagram butt pic? I don’t think I’m doing this right. 😂😂😂
keto die the most effective way to fight obesity!
According to a new study, the keto diet could be even more effective than the practice of physical exercise in obese people for their health and weight loss
It has been shown that the keto diet offers health benefits: weight loss, healthier insulin levels, helps treat tumors and sharpens memory. It is also gaining attention for its ability to help people with severe obesity who, for a multitude of health reasons, may not necessarily exercise or diet as healthy people do.
Well, according to a new study, for overweight and obese people with signs of metabolic syndrome (a combination of factors that can increase the risk of diabetes, stroke and heart disease) following the keto diet and not exercising could be an option healthier than exercising and still being obese.#ketodiet#lowcarb#lowcarbdiet#lchf#ketoweightloss#nutsnuts#letsgetketo#beketobehappy#ketocoach
Been on a high ever since arriving in Banff... literally and figuratively because #elevation lol I’m feeling incredibly grateful as of late. This year I’ve really tried to step outside my comfort zone and somehow I’ve landed under the mentorship of the entire D’Agostino lab and @victoria_field_, something I will never take for granted! I love that I’m able to contribute to their projects because what they’re doing individually and collectively is nothing short of inspiring. I have no idea where the path I’m on is taking me but all I know is I’m one happy camper 😊
