@Regran_ed from @christina_keto_91413 - I put together this little picture with some common reasons why you may be stalling on Keto or hit a plateau. I’ve experienced all of them and really had to rethink certain things I do. I LOVE macadamia nuts but have learned to eat a few to satisfy me, not the whole bag and those delicious Starbucks heavy whipping cream drinks with SF syrup, love them too and would get them ALOT. I stopped bc I felt like they did cause me to either stall or gain if I over did it (that was a hard addiction to break) I get a Starbucks drink MAYBE once a month now, as a treat. Too much protein is no good on Keto. Remember, it’s high fat, MODERATE protein. I also used to get those flavored waters, sparkling drinks or Diet Coke. I stopped all that and switched to drinking plain water (and Bang lol) it sucks at first but you get used to it ! Try not to add the flavor packs( I kno I like them too lol) but if your going to, try an electrolyte one like @goultima ! I do drink my Propel (zero cal sugar and carb) too if I really want something with some flavor! Watch your calories! It’s easy to go overboard with all the fat but try to keep your calories at a reasonable number. Look for hidden carbs in things. The “SF CREAMERS” are no good. Skip them! Realllly easy to overpour these and get more then what you think! Use heavy cream at home and alittle of your own SF syrup. INTERMITTENT FAST!!!! This will make all the difference. I know 16 hours without food seems crazy and you’ll feel hungry at first but your body will get used to it! First week will be the most challenging but it gets easier! Hope this could help you all!❤️.
