So. An epic NON SCALE VICTORY on #transformationtuesday I love jeans, good jeans, and had a nice little collection. They all fit like a glove, just perfect. After two babies and 6-8 years, none of them fit. I couldn’t get them above my knees before I started #keto 6 months ago. I tried a few pairs on in June. They pulled up, didn’t quite button but I was thrilled. Then again in late July, they buttoned but felt funny around the butt and hips. Tried them again in August and they were a little better but not comfortable because of the low rise or something. I never really planned to wear them again so I just put them aside and haven’t thought much more of them. Until this morning. I put my old time favorite go to pair on, they slid up, buttoned and practically slid right back down 😵 this was my second favorite pair. Same thing. All I can say is WHAT IN THE WORLD. Never did I think this would happen and I can’t even describe how I feel. Just speechless ❤️ you can do anything you set your mind to.
I always envied seeing other people’s #TransformationTuesday because I so desperately wanted to have one of my own. Well, guess what?! I did the fucking work and now I have one! Social media can be so deceiving sometimes and it’s really easy to look at someone’s current state but not see the mountains of work that it took to get there. I’m not at the finish line but I am so enjoying the journey getting there 🎉🙌
Happy transformation Tuesday! Can I tell you a few thing about this journey. It will hurt, it will take time and dedication. There will be highs and lows. There will be weeks, hell maybe even months where you feel like you are going in circles. There will be sacrifice and lots of temptation. You will fall down over and over but if you can push through and be consistent you will achieve your goals. Do it for the random NSV’s, the goal jeans, the #transformationtuesday that blow you away week after week. Do it for the aches you won’t feel when you pop out of bed. This is how I start my day at 5 a.m. with some keto tea. It keeps me satisfied until Lunchtime. Organic Green Tea, 2 oz of coconut milk, ceylon cinnamon, 1 Tablespoon MCT Oil, and a few drops of Liquid Stevia. (For the coconut milk...I buy a can of full fat organic coconut milk and add 2 cans of water to it) 🥥 #ketotea
