Right. Day 2 sick, coughing like a mofo and trying to work from home with a head full of fog, and body pains all over. Just wanted to *honestly* curl up in a ball on the sofa at 17:30 when I logged off the corporate G-Suite.
HOWEVER ... I went to the gym on Monday night before I got sick, Tuesday was a rest day, and I didn't go last night because I just felt too damned weak. So if I didn't go AGAIN tonight that would be three nights without gym, and THAT is unacceptable.
Had to get a few supplies anyway for the rest of the fam, so dragged my miserable ass to the store. Luckily I've found previously I'm definitely a 'night person' rather than a 'day person'. I actually find my energy levels go UP as the sun goes down. There IS a distant family connection to Vlad Tepes y'know 😋
So I tried to tap into that. Got some cough syrup (non drowsy). Got some red onion to mix up with some minced garlic - potent natural antibiotics (don't believe what you read, the Carpathians love garlic hahaha) that won't kill your gut flora, just the nasties. Eat that raw - mmm love it! Chase it down with a double scoop R1 WPI and some Protein fortified milk, and finish with C4 pre.
NOW I feel ready. Let's do dis ! 😉 (Obviously I'll be using antibacterials on the equipment to avoid spreading flu germs to anyone else)
