#tbt to Kentucky 2012 compared to this past Sunday. I can’t even believe this is me?! The left picture I was so unhappy and so miserable. I stayed this weight for a while and then would lose and gain it all back plus more. I tried weight watchers and failed because I still ate crap food because it fit into my points and I got tired of tracking, so I quit. I tried eating only meats and veggies and lost and then gained it all back plus more. I tried so many different things, some that I’m not proud of, and none of them have been sustainable for me until #keto. Keto is a complete lifestyle change. I’m able to choose foods that will properly fuel me and I feel proud of my choices. I have control of my choices and keto can be completely done on your own without having to buy extra stuff. Y’all keto has given me a new life and I’m so thankful.
If you have been watching my stories you know that I have been struggling with this sweater on the right. I love it I’m just not sure I have the confidence yet to pull it off. Yes I can put a cami under but I want to be the kind of woman who can rock whatever the hell she wants without apologies. Obviously this is a work in progress so I decided to take a look “back” at where I started. Don’t mind me I love a cheesy pun 😆 throwing back to keto day one. Also I’m not hating my bum these days 😏🍑 #throwbackthursday#byebyebackfat#selflove
So one of my best friends stopped by my work yesterday and brought me this delicious pumpkin cheesecake mousse. She couldn't remember where she got it from but then when she got home she found it and sent me the link. It's from none other than the awesome Kyndra Holley @peaceloveandlowcarb ♥️🎃♥️🎃♥️ This was so delicious. I'm definitely enjoying everything pumpkin this time of year. Either Google it, check out her website or click on the link in my linktree profile to her recipe!
Cookies 🍪 🍪 🍪 for breakfast?! Well, when your cookies are made from good stuff, you can have them any time!
@icelandicprovisions skyr vanilla yogurt, topped with my @rachlmansfield cookie 🍪 that I baked last night (crumbled up, of course), sweet potato 🍠 , some local PA maple syrup, and cinnamon.
That's it, I'm kinkshaming... Okay, not really 😂 But I am expressing my disappointment in and dislike of another #ketofood fave. First Walden Farms, now Jordan's Skinny syrups. I should've known better, honestly, because I already have two bottles of other syrups that I feel meh about. But the flavors really called to me, and I was intrigued by the foamy stuff. But the flavors don't actually taste like what they promise. There's only a marginal difference in flavor between them, and they're overly sweet. I'd use more to get better flavor, but that would make my coffee sickeningly sweet. The foam topping is kind of cool, but 1. It has a weird bitter taste and 2. I have a wand frother that I use for my cream anyway. If I were looking for a fat-free foamy topping on my coffee it would work. Doesn't taste like Maple Bourbon, though. Just like the syrups, it's all sweetness and faint flavor. These are the La Croix of sugar-free syrups 😂 Oh well! Live and learn.
