I thought I’d switch it up and share some of my WOD today! Treadmill intervals, stretching + core circuit. *All videos are sped up minus the last one*
•Clip 1️⃣: Bird-Dogs (also referred to as spinal balance)🦅🐶 this is a great core warm-up! Make sure to keep the core activated, focus on breathing and move in a slow & controlled motion. You can progress this exercise by bringing your knee to meet your elbow for a crunch, or just hold the balance longer. ✨
•Clip 2️⃣: ROLLING! IK this looks super weird, but I swear it is SO hard and SO effective...just make sure you are doing it correctly! Keep your elbow to your knee (if that’s too hard put a yoga block in between) and roll to the side where your opposite arm is placed on the ground. SQUEEZE your glutes and keep your core engaged while rolling back up (don’t use any momentum- work for it!)💪🏼
•Clip 3️⃣: A variety of crunches... take what you will from it 🤷🏼♀️
•Clip 4️⃣: Tucks, Pikes & Toe Taps 😓 KILLER! Try 5 each. If pikes are too challenging you can stick with tucks and believe me you’ll still feel it. (Can you tell I’m on my 3rd set of these? Slowly dying lolol). ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀

Day 2: I’ve been planning to start working out again. I have a total gym and just bought the gazelle this spring. I was using them regularly and then I stopped when my daughter moved out. I moved them from my living room into her room but now it’s like out of sight out of mind. I never think to go upstairs and work out. I plan to start working out at least three times a week. Today is my 1 year Keto-Anniversary!
365 days ago I changed my Lifestyle and decided to get serious about my health. I say “Lifestyle” and not diet, because to me this is a way of life, not a temporary fix. It’s been an amazing journey and I wouldn’t change a thing. I have learned so much about my body, nutrition and my relationship with food.
One whole year of committing and having 100% Dietary Compliance to what I set out to do. .
My life has change drastically in one year, the physical transformation is obvious, but I wish you could see the inward mtransformation.
Keto has improved my life in so many ways, more then just the physical aspect.
My mental focus has improved substantially, I feel more productive on a daily basis and anxieties about ridiculous things are pretty much nonexistent. I feel like I am in control of my cravings and food in general. I eat intuitively now, which has never been the case. My workouts are on a whole other level and my endurance is much higher. I feel like I have improved in all areas of my life, not just in the health and fitness realm. .
I will continue to live this sustainable, enjoyable lifestyle and my goal is to help as many people as I can achieve the same inner and outer transformation as I have.
