NEW Hand-building class!
Pottery was being made long before the invention of the wheel. In this course we’ll talk about clay as a material, the most ancient making techniques, and how to apply them to whatever it is you choose to create - whether it’s functional or sculptural.
Think of it more as woodworking with a malleable material, or painting 3-dimensionally.

Fall Family Day! 🍎🍁🍏 We are exhausted humans due to this little pumpkin we have...so usually Sundays are lazy days. When Ruby naps...we nap.
For a week we had grand plans to go apple picking....
1 o'clock came and went..
3 o'clock...lets sit and relax and watch a show... 4 o'clock...Ruby's asleep..let's go lay down...
4:20....shortest nap in history...
what should we do?
4:40...should we go?
4:45....they close at 5...
4:50....mad rush to get coats and shoes on!
10 minutes we had to pick apples and it was the greatest 10 minutes of our week! Good thing we have an apple orchard literally right across the 2 lane street we live on!
Ruby's first time apple picking! Our first fall festivity of the season as a family! It was just great!
Make time for family time! Even if its 10 minutes :) #applepicking#fallfestivities#theeckbergadventure#exaustedparents#newparentlife#parentlife#newpaltz#hudsonvalley#upstateliving
