☕️ HAPPY THURSDAY ☕️ Sharing my all time fav the second day in a row. Because we all should have a warming, delicious, creamy and oh so yummie oatmeal-bowl. 🥄🤤 Todays bowl features a roiboos-vanilla oatmeal with mashed banana, topped with more banana 🍌, pear 🍐, pecans, coconut flakes and hemp seeds. 😋 Never ever getting tired of those!
Over the last days I spent a little time thinking about some topics belonging to nutrition/veganism in general! That’s why I want to hear your opinion! ✨
For me, nutrition is one of the most important parts of my life, since it’s providing me with the energy I need and it‘s influencing my life more than everything else. I figured out that I feel best on a plantbased, high in fat diet with loads of fresh fruits and veggies.
That‘s why I unconsciously developed some routines:
•I usually eat oats with fruits and nuts or something equivalent (breakfast muffins, etc) for breakfast to have enough energy. ☕️🥄
•I literally always eat a bowl of salad 🥙 with as many ingredients as possible for lunch. Mostly it’s a base of greens, zoodles, etc topped with veggies and hummus. •For dinner I always have what i crave most, I often eat fruit-monomeals 🍑🥝 or warm dishes like curry, soup, chickpea-pasta etc.
•I usually eat as much as I like to in every meal, means I always eat until I‘m full. 🍽
•After doing Sports I always eat like 1/3 more than usual, depending on what I need. 🏃🏼♀️
•I always try to eat seasonal food from the farmers in my village and try to use up everything at every time to never waste food. 👩🏼🌾 •I would always choose fruits over processed sweets 🍭 •Sometimes, I binge on snacks like rice crackers with hummus 🤷🏼♀️ Do you also have such habits? Do you change your habits from time to time? How often? Do you eat processed foods or just Whole Foods? What‘s your food-guilty pleasure? What’s your favorite go-to?
