I spent years chasing numbers. Trying to lift big heavy weights, pushing my body and my ego. I packed on size but also risked stupid injuries by sacrificing form for numbers.
Now at 42 I don’t load the bar with heavy ass weights. I don’t try and lift more than anyone else in the gym.
My focus is on form and time under tension and most importantly keeping myself free from injury aiding to my longevity in training.
I’ve made more gains this last 6 months than I have in a long time.
Form, focus and tension.
