It's rare that a Japanese UCI Continental Cycling team racing primarily in Asia and Europe gets much attention from American cycling fans. But, when Interpro Stradalli (@ipcteamofficial) signed hot-shot American cyclist Alexey Vermeulen for the 2018 season, the nation took notice. So, when I had the opportunity to visit Japan recently and meet Interpro Stradalli's co-founder Sebastien Pilotte (@sebpilotte) (on the right hand side of the photo with me and my buddy Dhruba at Kawasaki Station), I knew it was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up. Be sure to check out @A_Cyclist_in_a_Strange_Land next week to read the details of our encounter. As you see in these photos, Kawasaki and Tokyo aren't your typical cycling city, but they're still great ones!
