6 years this month I took a leap of faith and did something I NEVER thought I would do. You see in August of 2011 I was officially diagnosed with IBS D after a year worth of medical tests. I was scared to leave my house unless i had too. I would have panic attacks and my anxiety was horrible . I was over weight, depressed and miserable.
In 2012 on a spur of the moment decision i decided that I had enough and I wanted to LIVE again.. .so I signed up for my what turned out to be ONE of many 8 hour fitness certification courses. It was an 45 min away from house and an all day affair. And guess what...I did it. I survived. I had a blast. I did something I never thought in a million years I would do.
Now 6 years, NINE different format certifications later (4 still current) and becoming a Certified Group Class instructor and coach . I am hoping to take the biggest leap of faith yet. I am hoping to sign up for my 200 hour yoga course to become a Certified Yoga Instructor.
While I am working on saving up the money to pull the trigger on the course I am working on my flexibility and continuing to learn everything I can.
It's amazing to me how far I have come and how far I can see me going.
