A beautiful friend shared this earlier and it just...fit.
I’m grateful for my journey this far...messy as it’s been. I’ve loved hard, cried hard, prayed harder, laughed hysterically, fallen apart, picked back up, fallen again-and keep moving forward. It may not be pretty, but it’s mine, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come and where I’m going❤️ #alwayshope#anewday#cuppa#love
☕️ BREAK & A BREW • Taking a moment from work stuff to indulge in a delicious cup of @roastworks_coffee_co coffee in my grandfathers Polish coffee set no less ☕️
☕️ Heirlooms like these make that cuppa taste oh so much better. Isn’t it funny how we have attachments to a specific mug or cup? I’ve also got a Mr Clever cup that I would only drink milk ‘a little bit warm’ when I was a kid 😉What are your similar fond memories attached to a cup or similar? Would love to hear them!
☕️ Having enjoyed my moment out I’m going back to writing up the recipe for my pistachio chocolate truffles that will go out in my newsletter tomorrow with an ace offer on one of the ingredients to make them. Clue 🐯🥜...so sign up on my website if you haven’t already. And in the meantime happy cuppa time ☕️
Who’s ready for the weekend?
I certainly am! Thanks for asking where I’ve got to the last few days. I had a bit of a set back this week with my back.I had pain at the beginning of the week that I’ve not felt since before the injection.Which has confirmed to me it has not been successful. However I am convinced the physio I have been receiving the last month is helping. In the past when I experienced this pain it would have been more intense and would of stayed with me for much longer. When I felt it go I could feel the muscles I had been strengthening kick in,to support it giving out completely, which has made me even more determined to get my back stronger💪🏻
Anyway the reason I’m rambling on about my back is because a friend recommended me watching a program called ‘The Power of the Placebo’.It was so good I had to share! They took a group of people with back pain (some suffering for over 15 years) and told them they were taking part in an experimental new drug to help manage their pain. They were in fact all taking a placebo! But the results were unbelievable proving the body can create its own healing chemicals! and even after finding out the truth they still remained in good health. Its really worth a watch if you experience any kind of pain on a daily basis. You may feel alone but there are so many people out there going through what you are ❤️ and with a little self belief I truly think we can help ourselves.
On a separate note the Acorn Crown wreaths are on the website....🌳🌳🌳 x
If you see the same person day in day out on your commute, a first step could be to say 'hello' and then to start working towards knowing what people like that could make their day easier. Can of coke, cuppa, coffee maybe.. but just starting a conversation first. Also it sounds obvious to say, but people who sleep out have usually experienced some pretty emotionally and physically violent behaviour from members of the public. Or they've found expectations or let-downs came with what has been offered to them. So start small and just gradually start to chat. And remember everyone has days they feel crap so if it doesn't go so well, you could try again later in the week.
Loving this @t2tea "Pantry Trio" gift pack! I wouldn't be hiding these sweet little tins in the pantry though, cute as! "Three quintessential T2 teas in handy teabags all packed up into these sleek stainless steel tins! Line them up on your kitchen bench and tuck into a brew whenever the mood strikes! Sip up Melbourne Breakfast, Lemongrass & Ginger or Gorgeous Geisha."
