Crispy chilli loaded fries 🍟
One thing I loved as a meat eater was crispy chilli beef from the Chinese restaurant, the one with the thick hot yet tangy sauce,mmmm 🤤 so I made the Sauce and added quorn mince and kidney beans and it filled the void!
Fry vegan mince we got ours from @ocado (300g pack) in pan with chilli infused oil till crispy. Add the drained kidney beans (200g) and fry another 2 mins. Add 150g of sweet chilli sauce and 150g of red sauce and simmer. Load it up over fries and top with what ever you want, I used nutritional yeast and jalapeños 👌🏽

PERI PERI BITES🌶 :
* Jalapeños 4-5
* Breadcrumbs * Egg 1 whole
* Milk 1/4 cup
* All purpose flour 1 cup
* Paprika 1/4 tsp
* Mozzarella cheese shredded * Chicken shredded (1 boneless piece) * Salt & pepper to taste
* Nandos periperi sauce 1tbsp
* Vinegar 1 tbsp
* Soya sauce 1tbsp
* Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
DIRECTIONS: 🌶 take jalapeños, cut an incision through it neatly and remove the seeds. 🌶 marinate the shredded chicken in nandos peri peri sauce, salt & pepper, vinegar, garlic paste & soya sauce. Then fry it in 2 tbsp of oil. 🌶 Fill in the jalapeños with chedder cheese and chicken mixture. 🌶 Take 2 bowls, add flour with bit of salt & pepper in one and in the other add the mixture of egg & milk. Take a tray full of fresh breadcrumbs. 🌶 Now cover the stuffed jalapeños firstly in flour seasoning then dip it in the egg & milk mixture and then cover it with breadcrumbs. After that again dip it in the egg & milk mixture and then cover it with breadcrumbs again. (In this way all the portion which was left uncovered at first will get a great thickening and the stuffing won’t pop out during frying.) 🌶 Chill for an hour and fry till light golden. Serve it with nandos peri peri sauce & you’re done!! Optional:- add basil 🌿 in breadcrumbs.
Must use fresh breadcrumbs for good taste.
