The Beatles always knew we’d get by with a little help from our friends, right? Well, today I totally need a hand from you guys. I’m looking for some fitness advice, and I’m just sure you’ll know what to do - or at least have an opinion.
I have been working on my health over the summer and fall with a program I LOVE and I am ready to make a big shift. EEEEeeee! So, if you’ve got any insight into the Ketogenic diet, please, share your wisdom in the comments below! Just so all my friend who are parents with special needs know, this is for me, and not for Rhysie and seizure control.
I am part of a beta test of 1,500 people who have banded together to do a 30 day Ketogenic program using some of the staples from my existing cleansing system. I feel like I need to know what is actually possible and I can’t turn my nose up at something I don’t know first hand. Also, when people ask me about it, I would like to have an educated answer. The other participants are so excited and to be frank, I am a little scared! I am worried that I am going to not know what to eat and then I will eat nothing and be cranky. This reminds me of the Atikins diet from the ‘90s. Will I have have smelly breath?? (yikes)
More questions; Will I still be able to run as often? What some easy go to meals? This one is key since I don’t enjoy cooking or research (Unless it’s Apple related). I have to travel to Ottawa for three days and I have no idea what to bring with me into an all day heath and wellness conference...
Gahhhhh! This is so new to me but I am ready to challenge myself again. There are 1,500 people who’ve registered. Will I still be one of the last ones standing at the end? Thanking you in advance my friends!
