Why track your macros?
WELL here’s the thing, counting macros is a tool. It’s not a diet.
Don’t be intimidated by counting macros. You can count macros, if you are vegan, vegetarian, paleo, etc. We use macros as a tool, to create individualized plans, to change body composition or to achieve results we are looking for.
The end results for my clients is to leave me and be able to intuitively eat. But first you must be able to track macros. This leads too: •Education- you learn about what macronutrients are and how your body responds to each individual macro and what works best for you.
•Results- your education and macro counting creates the results you desire
•You May build more self-awareness. You are more in tune with your body. You can see what works and what doesn’t.
•Use macros to optimize your gym performance.
•Finally balance out those hormones. For example: your face is breaking out. You may be eating to much dairy or wheat or have an intolerance. Tracking macros may be the key to clearing your skin.
•Food control. You know longer are controlled by food. You control how much and of what. By having all of those things listed previously, you now have control.
