The most interesting part of a slow car is how fast it can go.
I always think how much fun it would be to go a bit faster everytime. It's a challenge I happily take on, in order to improve as a driver.
Because of the 1.4L engine not allowing for a fast acceleration, it just becomes a habbit to make sure I loose as little momentum as possible when I reach the corners.
Slow cars can teach you a thing or two when it comes to think about things you wouldn't normally consider.
Things you could easily overlook when driving a car with a more powerful engine.
Now, don't get me wrong. I would love to have more powerful engine! But until then, I'll do with what I have.
Just have fun and pay closer attention to smaller details when behind the wheel.
They make a difference when driving and you'll always experience something different every time you drive your car 🏁
So, further news on the car.
It's still at the bodyshop, waiting to get the chassis aligned and properly set up.
All parts needes for the front are already there, luckily salvaged from a mint condition EK sedan from the UK that was brought straight to Portugal.
So now, just have to wait for some cars to get done, mine is 2nd on the line atm.
It's been a long time since I drove this thing, I can't honestly remember how it sounded like.
But, all in all, it's a good reason to check everything, make an advantage to get those parts I've been looking for and fixing minor things that the bodyshop detected.
2019 is going to turn out great for this project.
Keep up with us
So when you have Tryed everything else and the last thing is to check every wire on the engine loom there’s only one thing for it. ... a few long arse night tracing wires with wire diagrams 😑 this crx will live one day.
