What if we shifted our focus from the hardships, the stress, the negativity and instead focused our time and energy on looking for the miracles?
We’re at that point in rehearsal where people are not feeling great (most likely due to the intense rehearsal schedule and the NYC change of weather), coupled with the enormity of learning an entire show in about two weeks, with the added pressure of having an audience right around the corner. Tensions are high, people feel vulnerable. It’s EASY to fall into negativity and gossip and putting one’s personal stress on others. I challenge myself and my friends, what if we look for the miracles? What if we search for the joy? What we focus on grows.
How are you spending your time? What thoughts come easily to you? Do you have the courage to honor that you might not be feeling great but you are CHOOSING to find the miracles? And guess what, miracles don’t have to be cosmic, life altering shifts! They can be as simple as feeling the cool breeze on your face as you step out for your workday, or a kind text from a friend, or a smile from the stranger on the street. What miracle have you experienced today? Share below so we can all feel and experience the miracles with you!
