|| You don’t realize how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have. ||
When I was 13 years old, my Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I remember sitting in the hospital with him. I was sitting in his lap and could not stop crying.
I kept asking “why him?”, when he would always practice health first. He would wake up and workout at 5am at the YMCA, he loved his juicer and he was an incredible cook.
He loved cooking a healthy dinner for us. He also loved cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, his work and his family. 🏍🚙👨🏽🍳❤️ My Dad was an exceptional man, with the biggest heart.
But I’ve found that no matter the good you may give in life, it may not always be fair.
It’s not about asking “why do bad things happening to good people?”, or “what did I do to deserve this?”.
It’s about learning and growing through the process and asking, “if this happened, what do I do now, and who is there to help me do it?”. It breaks my heart thinking back to the days where my family and I struggled. But knowing that we were together and had support of family and friends to help us through it —— for that I am forever thankful.
My Dad taught us many wonderful things in life. And this especially; “no matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.” And Dad, you’re a legend. You’ve made made a mark on this world that won’t ever be erased. We miss you every single day. We love you forever and always. ~ Rest in Peace to our Stormin Norman 07.25.08 ~ ❤️🤙🏽💐

I saw something really awful yesterday and wanted to share it with you guys. So I was in the gym with my client, and I saw a young lad (around 17 using the leg press). He was quite skinny and the weights were on the minimum. Then two older guys (30s) across from him were mumbling and sniggering watching him on the machine. THIS MAKES ME SO MAD! Why would you make fun of someone trying to improve themselves? He obviously has a goal in mind, and you’ve gotta remember we all started somewhere! So I went over to him and asked him if he came often (I didn’t want to presume me was new), he said this was only his second time and I said “good for you, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Keep going you’re doing great”. He smiled at me and carried on, the other two boys walked away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If this has happened to you, don’t let it put you off! They don’t know your story & we are all here for the same reason; to improve ourselves and be the healthiest and happiest we can be. If they can’t support you then it’s their problem not yours 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ll be writing about this and more in a FREE self help leaflet for you all!!
