Whole30 Day 8!!!!
As you may know, my life right now is a liiiiiiittle cray. I feel like I’m burning on all ends. But hey, that’s life sometimes, and that doesn’t mean that we have to let every part of our lives fall apart...especially our physical health. If anything, now is the time I NEED to make good choices and feed myself well.
This treat is one of my go to’s when I’m mentally done, exhausted and starving. I take one can of sardines in olive oil, drain them, add avocado, spicy sauerkraut (hello healthy gut!!!!), capers, salt, pepper, and chili flakes, then smash it into a mash of goodness. I like to use red peppers and carrots as my spoon, but you could use whatever veggies you fancy. All is done and in my mouth within 10 minutes. Easy peasy.
I wish I had more time to be creative with my food these days, but I’ve got my system down and I’m not straying for fear of falling off the wagon hard and doing something we’ll all regret!! One more day down. How many more until summer?
